Main Page
From NWoD
Welcome
This is the main page for the Wikis of both Gates of Gold and Cirque De Perdu. Please note that the information contained in here is fictional. It is about fictional people in a fictional game world.
You can e-mail staff of Cirque de Perdue or Gates of Gold at "staff@whitehatgamers.com". Staff of No Spenukeling can be reached at "no.spenukeling@gmail.com".

The RULES: Using This Wiki
Please:
- Include a brief description of your change in the "Summary" bar at the bottom of the edit page. Please actually describe the change -- it's much easier to figure out than when you just copy-paste your text to the Summary window.
- If you want to make a change you think might be controversial, please post a description of your suggested change to the "discussion" page for the page you want to edit. I know, we all love immediate gratification, but staff likes having open discussion about these things. (If you're having an edit war over the $&#@ing change: 1) STOP. Edit wars are damned nuisancy and make staff grumpy. 2) You now know the change is controversial. Take it to the discussion page, and staff will decide what to post on the official wiki page in the meantime.)
- If you make a non-substantive change (grammar change or very VERY minor change that stands ZERO chance of having anyone disagree with it), please click the "This is a minor edit" box at the bottom of the edit page. Abuse of this feature will make staff cranky with you.
- Only staff gets to make anonymous posts. Neener. An easy way to include your name and date/time is to use the special text of '~~~~' (the tilde '~' character four times). Use only three tilde ('~~~') for just your name.
In-Character
The information in here represents what would reasonably be known to characters in those chronicles.
Setting
- nWoD has information relative to the World of Darkness in general (things that are true in both chronicles)
- Gates of Gold has information specific to the Mage: The Awakening chronicle set in San Francisco.
- Cirque de Perdue has information specific to the Changeling: The Lost chronicle set in Bellingham, Washington.
- No Spenukeling has information specific to the Changeling: the Dreaming chronicle set in the Catskill Mountains. Unlike Cirque de Perdue and Gates of Gold it uses nWoD rules but an adapted oWoD setting.
Rumors
Everything on the settings page is "Common Knowledge," Easily verifiable facts that are not in dispute. At the bottom of any page, anyone who wishes to can add rumors.
These represent things that you want other people to know about the person, place, or group in question. However, as these are rumors you have openly spread, they can be traced back to you with ease, and must therefore be timestamped with your name and the date.
If you wish for your character to spread rumors about other people surreptitiously, contact staff with the rumor, and how you are arranging for it to be spread. Staff will post the rumor anonymously, and will establish how difficult it is to trace back to you...
These links are for more 'general' rumors.
Quotes
Did someone say something funny, profound, or just plain awesome? Give it the appropriate amount of respect, and place it herein for all to see.
Out Of Character
This section represents things the players should know, even if their characters might not.
Rules
This site also contains an overview of the house rules.
- nWoD has house rules that apply to both games.
- Gates of Gold has house rules specific to the Mage: The Awakening chronicle set in San Francisco.
- Cirque de Perdue has house rules specific to the Changeling: The Lost chronicle set in a traveling circus.
- No Spenukeling has house rules and nWoD rules conversions specific to Changeling: the Dreaming.
In general, House rules that are true in Gates of Gold or Cirque de Perdue (such as modifications to supernatural powers) will also be true in the other. However, there will be some custom status and downtime rules in Cirque due to the nature of the campaign.
Special Events
- OOGA's are when players get together out side of game to play out a scene we didn't have time for in game.
- IC/OOC Auctions allow staff to introduce plot elements, random goodies, and random baddies.
